About IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award 2026

The IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award 2026 returns for its second edition, recognising exceptional achievements in interior design and architecture across Bangladesh.

Projects completed between June 2024 and June 2026 are now eligible for submission. Interior Designers and Architects are invited to present their finest work in the Residential, Office, Retail, and Hospitality categories.

Organised by the Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB), the awards provide a distinguished platform to celebrate creativity, innovation, craftsmanship, and professional excellence. Whether your project has transformed a home, workplace, retail environment, or hospitality space, this is an opportunity to gain recognition from the country’s leading professional design community.

Submit your project and become part of Bangladesh’s most prestigious celebration of Interior Design Excellence. The IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award 2026 is organized by the Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB), with Design Doctors Studio serving as the Event Consultant.

Objective

  • To recognize Interior Designers who pursue excellence in design which reflect local content in design, detail, material, etc.

Eligibility

  • 1) Participating professional Interior Designers and Architects for Professional Categories and practicing interior design.
  • 2) Entries submitted must be completed between the years June 2024 to June 2026
  • 3) Submissions of projects must be consented to by the client(s)/owner(s).
  • 4) Professionals are welcome to submit one or more entries for any or all categories.

Prize Money

Residential Design

  • 1st Prize: 100,000 BDT
  • 2nd Prize: 50,000 BDT
  • 3rd Prize: 30,000 BDT

Corporate Office Design

  • 1st Prize: 100,000 BDT
  • 2nd Prize: 50,000 BDT
  • 3rd Prize: 30,000 BDT

Retail & Hospitality Design

  • 1st Prize: 100,000 BDT
  • 2nd Prize: 50,000 BDT
  • 3rd Prize: 30,000 BDT
