About IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award 2024

The IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award 2024 for Design Excellence shall be conferred to Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) who are practicing Interior Design for works completed between the years 2022 to 31st Dec 2024 that best exemplify the pursuit of excellence in Interior Design.

Excellence in Interior Design refers to excellence in its design and the consistent translation of its intentions into reality, the concurrent high quality of construction and its beneficial impact on the social, physical and the cultural environment of the country.

Objective

  • To recognize Interior Designers who pursue excellence in design which reflect local content in design, detail, material, etc.

Eligibility

  • 1) Participating professional Interior Designers and Architects for Professional Categories and practicing interior design.
  • 2) Entries submitted must be completed between the years 2022 to Dec 2024.
  • 3) Submissions of projects must be consented to by the client(s)/owner(s).
  • 4) Professionals are welcome to submit one or more entries for any or all categories.

Prize Money

Residential Design

  • 1st Prize: 100,000 BDT
  • 2nd Prize: 50,000 BDT
  • 3rd Prize: 30,000 BDT

Corporate Office Design

  • 1st Prize: 100,000 BDT
  • 2nd Prize: 50,000 BDT
  • 3rd Prize: 30,000 BDT

Retail & Hospitality Design

  • 1st Prize: 100,000 BDT
  • 2nd Prize: 50,000 BDT
  • 3rd Prize: 30,000 BDT
